Χάρης Κοντοσφύρης στην 2η Biennale Θεσσαλονίκης - Harris Kondosphyris in 2nd Biennale of Thessaloniki
Από τις 11 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 και έως τις 23 Οκτωβρίου 2009, στα πλαίσια της 2ης Biennale Σύγχρονης Τέχνης της Θεσσαλονίκης "Praxis" πραγματοποιείται η έκθεση Ελλήνων εικαστικών καλλιτεχνών "Προσωπικό = Πολιτικό". Μεταξύ των συμμετεχόντων είναι και ο διακεκριμένος εικαστικός Χάρης Κοντοσφύρης με το έργο «Κυκλοφορία/Circulation» που είναι μια σειρά πρόσφατων σχεδίων με στυλό διαρκείας σε βαμβακερά χαρτιά.Ο Χ. Κοντοσφύρης ξαναγράφει την είδηση, το κείμενο. Οι εικονογραφήσεις του από τον διεθνή και τον ελληνικό τύπο, διϋλίζονται μέσα από την ανασχεδίαση προσπαθώντας να δοκιμαστούν ως ακμές αυτών των χαμένων οραμάτων, ως όψεις του συλλογικού πολιτικοκοινωνικού γίγνεσθαι.

From the 11th September 2009 till the 23rd October 2009, it takes place a parallel program called "Personal = Political" during the 2nd Biennale of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki "Praxis". "Personal = Political" is an exhibition of Greek artists and among the participants is the charismatic Harris Kondosphyris with his project «Circulation» which is a series of drawings made using the ink of a ball point pen, a common everyday object.On the whole, the drawings copy pictures from newspapers and other print-outs. They depict a series of selected stories of the past year, presented on a second reading in an expressionistic way. The original story is disguised and assumes the emotionally charged character that the artist chooses to attribute to it.
