Yesterday took place the Salon Art Prize reception The exhibition will continue Fri - Sun (12.00 - 18.00) until Saturday 30th October.

Salon Art Prize is an initiative from Matt Roberts Arts, a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to supporting the career development of creative practitioners through exhibition opportunities and training. Another prize will be for photography (Salon Photo Prize 2011) and is expected that up to 100 photographers will be exhibited at the Matt Roberts Arts gallery space in East London with one exhibitor winning the selectors' prize supported by 1000 Words Magazine which will consist of £1000 and a solo exhibition in 2012. The first Salon Photo Prize will take place from 4 February till 26 February 2011. The deadline for applications is till 5pm, Saturday 4th December, 2010.
For April 2011 and more specifically between 7 April and 30 April is expected to take place the Salon Video Prize where up to 25 practitioners will be exhibited with one of them winning the selectors' prize of £1000. The deadline for all applicants is 5pm, Saturday 5th February 2011.
