Matthew Williamson ss2011 handbags collection for Bvlgari

Milan Fashion Week Womenswear S/S 2011: Bulgari Party

English fashion designer Matthew Williamson was once again all business in Milan for the first time since he left the creative director position at Pucci back in 2008. He was enlisted by jewelry brand Bvlgari for the creation of an exclusive capsule handbag collection for spring/summer 2011 which was presented in a party at Milan's Bvlgari Hotel during the Milan Fashion Week.

Bvlgari introduced luxury accessories (handbags, leather goods, silk scarves, eyewear, table and gift lines) in 2008 and it is the first time that collaborates with a fashion designer in order to create a worth admiring handbags collection. According to Bvlgari CEO Francesco Trapani, as we read in WWD, Williamson was picked for "the great sense of color and design he brings to his work".
