Maria Fragoudaki solo exhibition
Skoufa Gallery hosts from the 27th January 2011, the first solo exhibition of the artist Maria Fragoudaki.
Fragoudakis' artworks are characterised by intense sentimental content, directness, dynamic movement and energy. The colour in her paintings is often violent and her strong brushstrokes give a sense of a continuously changing sentimental world. The viewers get familiar with her abstract colour forms which become a mean of communication between the artist and people.
Maria Fragoudaki was born in Athens in 1983. She studied Chemistry and Pharmacology in London and during her studies she attended a painting course in Central St.Martin's (University of the Arts London).
The exhibition ends on Saturday 19th February 2011.
