Les Voyages Extraordinaires collection by Van Cleef & Arpels
During ArtDubai (16-19 March 2011) Van Cleef & Arpels revealed Les Voyages Extraordinaires haute joaillerie collection.
Les Voyages Extraordinaires, staged by the talented Alfredo Arias and was presented to the public in September 2010 during the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris.
Freely inspired by the works of Jules Verne, the Les Voyages Extraordinaires collection opened the door on imaginary worlds that are just waiting to be explored. The collection was born from the author's four most famous works: Five Months in a Balloon, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and From Earth to the Moon.
"We have developed our creation from stories that touch each individual, whatever their language or place of birth", claims Stanislas de Quercize, President and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels. "This desire to travel, this impulse to set off to explore our vast world, each of us feels it one day or another".
