“τουμαραθωνίουmarathonproject”
It's less than 12 hours till the Athens Classic Marathon will start in the Greek capital city. This year in Greece we celebrate the 2,500 years anniversary from the Marathon Battle so the race tomorrow is of great importance since it does not showcase only the strength of the human will but also marks more than ever values such as social liability, environmental sensitivity, friendship and solidarity.
Besides the tough race that will take place in the roads of Attica, there is also a "marathon" of talks in the Acropolis Museum at 16.00 h where artists, authors and philosophers discuss the "Marathon message" and its symbolism. The scope of “τουμαραθωνίουmarathonproject” as it is called this initiative is to pass the message of the human effort. Among the speakers are Dimitris Dimitriadis, Ziranna Zateli, George Koumentakis and Jeff Koons.
