ARTEFIERA Art First 2011

This year, Arte Fiera Art First celebrates its 35th edition, to be held in Bologna from 28th to 31st January 2011. Arte Fiera is one of the first international modern and contemporary art fairs organised in Italy and atracts evry year gallery owners, collectors, curators, artists and art lovers. More than 200 galleries are present in the Bologna Exhibition Centre's 15000 sq.m. divided into three sections (modern art, contemporary art and latest trends).
Arte Fiera Art First consists of many new features and eventssuch as Art Talks, meetings and book presentations, Art White Night, Bologna Art First where all visitors will have the opportunity to discover the city's old buildings and historical places by means of site-specific installations, created by both well-known and rising Italian and foreign artists. One very interesting event that is worthwhile attending is the Happy Tech - Machines with a human face, a show of art and science that explores the relationship with new technologies. ARTE FIERA Art First also presents two important prizes dedicated to young artists the Euromobil Under 30 Prize and the Furla Prize.
