"Still Nature...in progress" exhibition
On Saturday19th February 2011 at 12.00, Kalos & Klio Showroom host the exhibition "Still Nature... in progress". Six artists join their powers and present their perspective for "Still Nature" in the Arts. Vaggelis Matziris, Mary Mistikidou, Amalia Serdaki, Yannis Stamenitis, Maria Symeonidou and George Tsakiris, also curator of the exhibition, have previously worked together at the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) for a research project concerning the interventions in the nature with an epicenter, the processes of decay and development in still nature. All artwork developed (installations, sculptures, paintings, draft sketches) show off with a clear view the rot, the modification as well as the renewal and survival ..... the endless fertility of life…
During the opening of the exhibition, at the entrance of the gallery there will be a music interaction event by a group consisting of Fotini Naoumidi, Katerina Palaiologou, Kostas Margariti, Kostas and Chris Pappas.
