Transformation and irony FROM ART THEORY TO DESIGN PRACTICE
Transformation is a multifaceted concept which finds various expressions in the world of art. From social transformation to the transformation of form, art aims to convey messages related to the ever-changing world in which we are living. Irony on the other hand is an interesting alternative way of looking and interpreting these changes by emphasising certain of their aspects. The aim of the seminar is to present some of these approaches in art processes and through these examples form a basis for reflection. In addition, the two concepts will be viewed through varied perspectives in order to present an open vision for new possibilities and ways of thinking related to design practices.
