Konstantinos Ladianos solo exhibition
CAN gallery is pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Konstantinos Ladianos that will take place from March 26th to May 02nd 2015 with an opening ceremony on Thursday 26th March 2015 at 20.00. The artist introduces us to his human-centered world. The scenes of his artworks refer somehow to Magical Realism although the human figures are strange, often monastic as if they came out from Byzantine pictures or bizarre fairy tales. The human form is always alone, sometimes surrounded by flowers, other times is naked or strangely dressed. Faces and bodies that can be found in the real modern life are transformed into "non-real" characters. Ladianos creates his personal mythology full of humans and monsters. With his portraits the artist delivers to his audience a soul map and a transcendental world beyond and behind from what we see.
