Cleto Munari first furnishings collection

Italian designer Cleto Munari has launched his first Furnishings Collection, in collaboration with Carlo Scarpa (architect), Alessandro Mendini (architect), Marcello Morandini (architect), Mario Botta (architect), Giorgio Cattano (architect), Alessandro Munari (architect), Lawrence Ferlinghetti (poet), Mark Strand (poet), Mimmo Paladino (artist) and Sandro Chia (artist). Munari has selected world renowned architects, poets and artists to work in complete freedom without the limitations of market or production constraints in order to to create what he considers "an ideal of beauty." Each piece in the Furnishings Collection is produced in a signed limited edition of 9,99 or 999.

The Furnishing Collection is being exhibited through 2011 in New York at the GD Cucine Showroom at 227 West 17th Street. According to our information Munari has been invited to exhibit his Palafitte table during Venice Biennale 2011 which opens its doors in June.
