MEDITATIONS_ON_eBOOK, a group exhibition at Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Centre
"Meditations_on_eBook" is the title of an innovative group exhibition which attempts to provide a sample of the changes made in the traditional form and use of ‘the book’ as a tool of knowledge and entertainment, particularly with the occurrence of digital technology. It addresses the outcomes of man questioning the rapid evolution of technology and the events that have led in his ability to read e-books through digital readership.
Diverse Greek-born artists have created works that demonstrate their individual practices as well as their overall social influences within the digital era. Writers, engravers, bookbinders and bloggers are also participating in this project. The show focuses on creating a holistic presentation on the creative processes of ‘book’, while raises an open debate.
