Eva ANAGNOSTOU, Fairy Tales
"FairyTales", is called Eva's Anagnostou solo exhibition hosted be Skoufa Gallery from September 22nd until October 15th 2011.
As the title of the exhibition denotes, the new artwork is a series of stories expressed through the human figure. Anagnostou focuses into kids and their universe consisting of play, innocence, questions and a completely different communication code. With her paintings she brings to view memories, feelings and experiences from her childhood creating thus a fairy tale.
Eva Anagnostou was born in Athens. She studied Graphic Design at the Vacalo School and she continued her studies at Petra School. She took part in many group exhibitions at Skoufa Gallery, Kolonaki, at the Art Gallery Anemos, Kifissia and Metamorphosis Gallery in Thessaloniki.
Many of her works can be found at the galleries mentioned, at the B&M Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts & Music, the Tsichritzis Visual Arts Foundation, the Municipal Art Gallery of Hydra as well as in private collections in Greece and abroad.
