The exhibition is organized with the valuable assistance of Ioulita Iliopoulou in curatorship by Takis Mavrotas and in cooperation with the Athens Concert Hall.
On Spetember 29th 2011 in the B & M Theocharakis Foundation Auditorium it will take place a concert dedicated to Odysseus Elytis who used to say that "it is impossible for someone to be Greek and not to love Mozart’s music". In this concert, classical music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven etc. is combined in a creative dialogue with poems from all different periods of the Nobelist poet. Three of Elytis’ poems, set to music by George Kouroupos, outline the presence of his poetry in contemporary music.
