LembessiArt 2011
Art galleries el.marneri and Technohoros in collaboration with the christinaskouloudi design studio organise, LembessiArt2011, a two day art festival (22nd and 23rd October 2011) in the heart of the city of Athens nearby the new Acropolis museum and more specific in Lembessis Street. During the weekend the visitors will have the opportunity to see artworks of Manolis Anastasakos, Katerina Kalogri, Christina Kellidi, Harry Kondosphyris, Andrea Loli, Stella Bakatsi and Dimitra Siaterli as well as the "my home" installation made by Aristi Kostopoulou and Kate Haliori.
el.marneri galerie will present the group exhibition "post motion" whereas Technohoros Art gallery the solo exhibition of the artist Anastassia Konstantakou under the title "Absence". The parallel program contains events such as sculptures made from kindergarden kids, children paintings exhibition with the full moon as a theme, made during July 2011 camp coordinated by Technohoros Art Gallery and Asimakopoulos campus.
Additionally, visitors will be able to see the stop motion animation created by the 6th grade students of Ziridis primary school under the guidance of the artist Lia Petrou as well as video art of "T H I R S T", a performance by artists Katerina Fanouraki and Eugene Ankomah.
