The DROP chair relaunch

The DROP chair designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel (now known as Radisson Blu Royal Hotel) in Copenhagen is now re-launched by the Republic of Fritz!

The Drop was originally produced along with the Swan and the Egg, but exclusively for the hotel and was never put into standard production. We talk about a small chair with a big personality and level of comfort. The new Drop chair is made of moulded plastic instead of pliable, upholstered foam, as the original design was. It is available in six plastic colors storm-blue, stone-grey, fire-red, black, white and sand-yellow with either chrome or powder-coated legs in matching colors or textile or leather upholstery.

The accessories for the chair include a seat cushion for the plastic version.
