Lina Patsiou at MDW 2015

Lina Patsiou will be showing her work in three different locations during the Milan Design Week 2015. She will be presenting her Muscar Fluffy Lights at Superstudio Piu (Via Tortona 27) where K.I.D.S exhibition takes place. A project by Superstudio and Milan's most ecclectic children's design store UNDUETRESTELLA with an objective to show us all that design can be suitable for kids too. Muscar Fluffy Lights came out of a college project and are hand made. Their innovative, furry coating allows the light to go through while transmitting the bulb's heat in a different way and most important can be left on a soft surface. Muscar's warmth and feel made them so popular that a new black version was released. Black Muscar launches at the 15th edition of Designersblock (Ex Ansaldo Building, Via Tortona 54) with the biggest muscar installation to date.

Patsiou returns with her SunClock collection to Ventura Lambrate (Via Massimiano 23) at the exhibition of the Form&Seek collective. The collection is inspired by the traditional sundial and contemplates the importance of the sun in understanding the passing of the time. The clocks are lined in natural leather which has been suntanned with the use of a solarium lamp. Each clock presents different tan-line patterns on their dial to showcase the gradual strenght and weakening of sunlight within the day.
