Lera Moiseeva at MDW 2015
During Milan Design Week 2015 Russian designer Lera Moiseeva presents limited edition of stackable vase set MATRYOSHKA, created for her first collaboration with Italian company NasonMoretti, one of the leading producers of Murano glass. The Matryoshka vases, which take their name from the wooden dolls of the Russian tradition, are composed of 4 pieces of different dimensions and each of them can be inserted in a bigger one. The vases are realized in four models with a special decoration designed by nasonMoretti: while the glass is blown, a bronze mould is used to create the texture on the surface of the object, later shaped with a wooden mould. MATRYOSHKA set will be shown at Spazio Rossana Orlandi (via Matteo Bandello 14).

In Spazio Rossana Orlandi the visitor will find also the limited edition of the DOT table in black color. As Moiseeva says "The Dot table takes the idea of the normally static design and transforms it to have a moving part". The table is made of solid ash and stands on three legs having the front wheel pivoting around the main surface. This not only provides additional functionality depending on our needs but it also changes the appearance of the table.

In collaboration with Luca Nichetto Lera presents new designs of Sofa4Manhattan collection for Berto & Design-Apart (Corso Magenta 24/A Apt.3). The Sofa4Manhattan project began with 10 international designers participating in a 2-day workshop in January of 2014 at the Design-Apart loft showroom in Chelsea, New York City. Another collaboration with Luca Nichetto is that of the Cosmic Messenger for Nooka which is exhibited in Milan at Spazio Ex Verniciature Allestimenti Portanuova (Via Adamello 9). In the official press release we read about Cosmic Messenger, "...is a form of communication, where an audio message is recorded and sent to space. It is a new format for the old school ‘message in a bottle’. Instead of the ocean, recorded message goes through the air into the infinity of space". Cosmic Messenger has speakers that play audio message - voice, sound or music - what a person wants to be sent. Cover capsule allows to realize a travel of the sound into space. All the voyage is recorded by 360 degree camera. Camera sends video signal to Earth, documenting the flight of the capsule. The users feel they are like space travelers, sending their voice into space and watching it travel through the eye of the camera. Their message becomes a part of infinity, and travels into the future.
