Socrates kinetic table lamp
We really loved the Socrates kinetic table lamp created by two young and emerging designers Ioannis and Christos Makris. The first (Ioannis) is a painter and sculptor, the latter a CNC operator and electronics engineer.
In 2000 they opened their workshop in Thessaloniki under the label Makris Bro & Co. Their objective!? To design and manufacture unique, limited edition custom-made objects. Their furniture and lights are handmade and are produced in low volumes, using laser cutting, cnc router cutting and sand casting.
