Until May 12th, 2012 Tsichritzis Visual Arts Foundation (IETT) hosts the group exhibition "memoria". Seven Greek contemporary artists try to present through their artworks, identity and memory as well as history and art history issues. As we read in the press release, "the re-turn to the past is needed more than any other time", and continues "memory and history are the media for the artists so as to redefine their own identity and their role in modern times". Visiting IETT you will clearly see that the exhibition has two basic axis, the memory and history co-existing with the personal memories and views in art and history. It is actually an attempt of interpreting various stories, official but also personal history.
