During Milan Design Week 2013, Kostantia Manthou will exhibit in Ventura Lambrate (Via Massimiano 23) a series of lamps called ALLOT. Their design principal came from existing lampshades and their potential outline shapes. They are slices of light that can be integrated anywhere. Due to their trapezoid shapes, they have no obvious point of balance (or have more than one) thus are able to settle in several positions.

The idea was born in Milan fair 2012, during a workshop of kiro-kolektif and has since been developed into actual objects. The main objective was to design one lamp that could be used as a table, wall or suspension lamp just by manually shifting it. In this case, the act of shifting becomes a tactile action.
