Marchigüe concrete vases collection by Stefano Pugliese

Stefano Pugliese Design Studio will present the Marchigüe Concrete Vases collection for the first time at Ventura Lambrate 2013 in occasion of the Milan’s Design week at the Autofficina in Via Privata Massimiano 23 from 9 to 14 April.

The Marchigüe (1) vases collection seeks simplicity and purity of design through a conceptual exercise on the interaction and synthesis between form (2), shape and decoration.

A pair of two-dimensional shapes, a circle and a hexagon, are linked together to form (3) the raw material, concrete, into a finely crafted object.

The design process, clearly visible on the surface of the vases, thus becomes the only decorative element of these monochromatic volumes.
